TOLEDO, OH– Saint Ursula Academy’s varsity volleyball team has eight seniors on this year’s roster. These seniors bring competitiveness and leadership to the team during practices and in games.

“Everything that I think you need inside of a team they bring for us,” said Jason Reiley, Varsity Head Coach.

On October 1, 2025, SUA held its senior night, honoring those eight seniors. Here’s a look at those who were honored:

Molly Malone has been a starter on varsity for three years and has dressed for the team for four years. She has played multiple positions, including middle, right side, outside, and DS (defensive specialist).

Malone was named one of three captains this season due to her leadership skills and energy.

“Her energy puts our team together,” said Shyla Ice ’27.

Mia Hasty has been on varsity since her sophomore year and has played both DS and outside for the Arrows.

Hasty is also a captain and was named the floor captain, which means she is the one communicating with the refs.

“Her being able to play multiple positions allows our team to put her wherever we need depending on the game,” said Blake Schroyer ’27.
